Beanie has just finished all his meds and he is back to his usual, chaotic self. I am so grateful for all the support. My boy is doing amazing! He and his brother are actively waking me up, playing, in the middle of the night and I couldn't be happier. (:
Bean has been diagnosed!
He is suffering from a gall bladder and bile duct infection that became more complicated by a gastric episode with toxoplasmosis. He is slowly improving under veterinary care, antibiotics and ultrasounds to check his guts.
Thank you so much for your help and please continue to share around Beans story of eventual recovery.
He is back to screaming for food, play fighting his brother and being a general menace to my footstool. (:
Beanie is doing better. Halfway through his antibiotics and just finished his anti nausea. He is still feeling a bit sick. He's doing so well, is playing with his brother again and is eating better. I'm very proud of my little man. (:
Bean has been back to the vets after a bout of several vomits over the course of an hour. More bloods. More medication. He's okay but his recovery has taken a few steps back. I'm still fighting and so is he. He's very sweet and giving lots of cuddles.
Beanie is doing much better. He is back to being his lovely old grumpy self, if not a little bit clinger than normal, which I'm grateful for. He's getting more bloods and check ups but is almost done with his medication! Much love from Bean, his brother and I. We are so grateful for the support we have received. (:
Beanie is now home and recovering. I am nursing him with subcutaneous fluids, syringe feeding, his medicine and vet recommended supplement's. He's got a long way to go but he's now peeing by himself! Thank you to everyone for helping me get my boy back. He started purring again for the first time in a week and came all by himself for cuddles! He's currently still very high but at least his breathing is back to normal and he's having a good time.
