Fundraising to help a local hero an inspiring young man

Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty

As many of you will have heard the staff at Barber Spence had a car go through the front of their coffee store.. Lucky no one was injured, but alot of damage was caused and also the staff left in shock after the unexpected accident that occurred.

Spence does so much for our community and was recently awarded for this with an Excellence Award from the Graham Dingle Foundation in recognition for his hard work..Spence is a bit of a legend in our community and it would be amazing if we as a community can give back to help him amd his staff through this difficult time.

Funds raised will go towards repairs and counselling for the staff and those involved in this incident..

Raising funds for him is a way for our community to show we believe in and support local young entrepreneurs. While Spencer does have insurance and some may say insurance will cover losses, please understand there are many daily expenses that go uncovered.

Any help greatly appreciated.. Let's get Spence and his dream back on teach ♥️

Spence went to OTC with my son's & I've followed his journey since he first opened from his little portaco in Ngatai Rd. From being a fellow Oats community member I know that he's a guy with a massive heart, generous to a fault & a true inspiration. I drive past 2x daily on my route & I'm not sure how this incident was able to be achieved, but it would've indeed been very shocking to the staff inside & insurance will only go part of the way to covering the true cost of the damage. I'm only too glad to 'give a little' to help Spence & his staff in their time of need.
