    So, Barney has lupus which is a systemic autoimmune disease that occurs when the body's immune system attacks the tissues and organs. Can affect joints, skin, kidneys n blood cells.

    Thanks to you guys we now have proper diagnosis .

    His medication continues so it weakens the body's defense /immune system, so the lupus cannot attack it.

    We now have to cover "vets time" as she has done all this with no payment to herself being the wonderful human being she is💕💕💕💕💕

  • Home from the vet

    So 6 hours later😧😧Barns has 3 stitches, 2 on eye area and 1 on nose. Still doped out and sleeping.

    Hopefully results tomorrow or Wednesday. Loss of 8kg since May is a bit concerning to say the least.

    Will know more in next couple of days.

    Big day today. Barns off to vet for the day for skin scrape and blood tests. Fingers crossed we will get to the bottom of the problems. The scrape will determine the strain of mites so can be treated properly. Thank you everyone once again 💕💕💕💕

  • Barneys skin scrape

    Thanks to you guys Barney is having his skin scrape and blood tests Monday 20th August. Still on Prednisone and immuno tablets

    Without your help this would have been impossible.

    Although we can't source the funds until next month the vet is prepared to go ahead costing around $200. Then there will be more medications to cover.

    Thank you everyone you are awesome. Using colloid silver and lemon n garlic spray for his sores. Seems less itchy but still scabby and depressed. Vet visit tomorrow to see where we're at. Thank you again😚😚
