BBM Motivation Response | Help vulnerable families during COVID-19

  • A day in the life | BBM Foodbank

      13 May 2020

Update from Dave Letele - Founder of BBM Motivation (Just Move Charitable Health Trust)

I got this message from one of the families we helped today. It pretty much summed up the feeling we are getting from serving our people.

"Your love and hard work for our community is beyond my imagination. Drove away real quick because I couldn't hold back the tears. #grateful

There's a Samoan saying that goes like this - e lē lava ni upu ia te au, e leai foi ni auro po'o ni ario o ia te a'u e taui ai lou alofa ma lou agalelei ae ia faapena ona liligi mai faamanuiaga a le Atua ia te oe ma toe faatutumu mea ua gaogaoina ona o i matou nei"

"Which translates to - there are not enough words to say, nor do I have diamonds or rubies to repay the great love and kindness you've shown to me and my family BUT we pray that God pours his blessings upon you and fulfil everything that shared today"🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️

I want to take this time to thank all of our supporters.

Thank you to these amazing organisations and supporters: Auckland Meat processors, Wilson Hellabys, Sanford and Sons, The Mad Butcher, Seeka, Fair Food, Punch bowl packaging, HeadQuarters Viaduct , Italian Stone Ltd , NZ Sikh Games and The Breakfast Club.😀😀

We plan on operating and supporting our communities right throughout Winter. Unfortunately, it's only going to get tougher for our people. We greatly appreciate your support and everyone who has generously donated to this appeal. This will enable us to continue this work supporting families.
