Raising funds to help Aotearoa’s overlooked exotic animals.

We are a small rescue based in Auckland. Our aim is to help exotics like reptiles, amphibians and fish in need. Exotics are not an inexpensive commitment, and things like specialist vet care can reach the thousands.

Your donation will be used for specialised equipment, vet bills and food.

All donations received in the months of May and June will go to a fund for Freddy's surgery, which you can read more about on the updates page.

Use of funds

We currently have a goal set of $1000. This will be primarily be spent on vet bills of current rescues, followed by purchasing of new terrariums to house a greater number of rescues, transporting of rescues, and overall care of rescues.

Urgent Help Needed for Freddy! 16 May 2024

Freddy arrived at our rescue a few months ago, bearing the scars of a brutal dog attack from his past. Despite his facial wounds, he's adapted and lived a happy life for years. However, his jaw bone is now eroding, causing new challenges.

We're working with specialist vets to find a solution. The first step is x-rays and blood tests to assess the extent of the damage, check for infection, and determine if he's strong enough for surgery. If all goes well, we'll need your help to fundraise for his surgery.

Freddy's story is a testament to resilience, and we're determined to give him the comfort and happiness he deserves.
