Paula's coming home!
25 September 2024Paula's either been a really annoying patient or really lovely! Brisbane Hospital has decided to send her home to NZ with a one way ticket TOMORROW! She will then be chauffer driven by Ambulance to Waikato Hospital.
Paula's incredible progress means she's now standing for a few moments (assisted) and can take a few steps (assisted,). This progress shows what is possible with the right rehab and recovery support.
Without needing to fund Paula's trip home, we can reduce her target, but the challenge now will be continuing the recovery momentum and ensuring Paula has access to everything she needs to get back on her feet again (unassisted) and make the best recovery possible.
So excited to have Paula almost home! Thank you again for all your support. Please keep sharing🩷
