Bella the cat needs Surgery

    OK so the 5th is the last day for the Give a little campaign

    I want to thank all the people that have helped mommy and daddy the money will help a lot in paying the bill for fixing my teef's.

    Daddy has said I should say what my life was like so here I go.

    I am 2 years old and while i was at the Kitten inn with the lovely Sam and Susan, I had my 3 babies Bud, Poppy and Lily, and then I had to look after some orphan's Violet, Rosie and Aster.

    I think I have had my bad mouth for at least a year

    what do I mean by a bad mouth, have you ever has a prickle in your foot, or finger? and how that gets pus around it? well that was what was happening

    to my teefs, my gums got swollen and was full of pus, and every time I cleaned my fur I could see pus on it so I had to clean it again, and swallow the pus, (icky). The doctor thinks that was what made me have my seizures, but now my mouth is a lot better

    and I have an appointment with the doctor with the lovely hair on Thursday so she can check how I am going.

    Ok so I am grounded, :(

    Mum and dad shai i was allowed to go outside but i went somewhere and didn't want to come home when mum and dad called, when i did come home i was grounded, so not allowed to go outside for a while.

  • Ok I am home

    Well everyone I am home, yesterday was very strange and something happened, i was given a injection and then went to sleep when i woke up all my teefs was gone. it doesn't hurt but that could be because of all the drugs, daddy has to give me a squirt of stuff in the morning and another one at tea time and a different one at tea time as well, and i have this sweet ankle thing on as well it is red and sparkly, daddy says it is a painkiller as well. I was really happy to get home and see mommy, daddy picked me up at the doctors and brought me home. So Now i have to go see the nurse on saturday to get my ankle thing off then, on thursday i need to go back and see the Doctor so she can check my mouth cas now i am like daddy, cas he has not got any teefs as well.

    Ok i am going to cuddle with mommy again.

  • After the surgery

    Hi We have had a call from the vet and the surgery went well, Bella has had all her teeth removed and has had blood tests she is doing really well, in recovery and is cuddled up with my Tshirt, they tell me she is a really sweet cat.

    So i pick her up tomorrow after work, and will post some pics and another update then.

  • Todays the day

    Ok so that was fun. we left in plenty of time to get to the vet but when we got to the motorway we seemed to stop and daddy said some bad words, (being a nice cat i don't know what they mean)

    but it seems that there was a breakdown on the motorway and traffic was really slow, and we was late for our appointment but the vet lady was really pretty and had lovely coloured hair, she talked to mommy and daddy, and told them what was going to happen and she said i was going to have my operation this afternoon, they will ring mommy and let her know how it went, and i will tell daddy to put a post on here letting you all know how things went. but now they are going to take me away and put me in a cage and do some blood tests

    but i do have daddys tshirt to cuddle so, see you later.

  • Well tonight has been a bit much

    tonight i felt very weird and suddenly i cannot remember what happened (daddy says i had 3 grand mal seizures) I think this scared mummy and daddy then we had to go to the vets, and I was sick and pooped myself (i get sick in the car) the vet was a nice man and he helped clean me up and after checking me over and he stuck a stick somewhere not nice he said he wanted to take my temperature, he has given me a pill and a ejection, i have come home with mummy and daddy and i have to go back tomorrow for my operation, i am still scared about tomorrow, but for now i am going to sleep with the mummy.

    Ok we got a call from the vet today and now we know when i have to go and get my teeth out.

    I have to go on the 26th of feb, I am feeling a bit scared, I have been with mommy and daddy since xmas and before that i was at the Kitten Inn with the lovely Sam, I am going to have to stay overnight and i am not sure i like that, and i think it will hurt to have my teeths out, but mommy says i will feel better after, I am going to go and get hugs.

    Wow Thank you to all the peoples who have been helping mommy and daddy, you are so kind we have almost enough to pay for the surgery, I have made a gift for you, now we have to wait till they tell us when.

  • Bella has been to the doctor.

    Well i went to the doctor today, was car sick on the way :( , the doctor had a look at my mouth and took a picture of my mouth, i am not getting better, my gums are inflamed and they hurt, so now i will have to go and get my teeth out, we are waiting now for the dentist to give us an appointment, that will probably be in a couple of weeks.

    My mommy is very worried and i need to give her hugs, thank you for your thoughts and any help you can give.

  • Doctors appointment

    Just letting peoples know I have an appointment to see the vet on wednesday to see how i am doing on my pills, (I am not looking forward to that as i get car sick) my daddy human gives me a pill crushed up on my noms (he doesn't think i know), and he squirts something in my mouth morning and night, but its not bad, if i am a good girl and take my medication i get a treat, and daddy helps me with my typing.

    I will let you know what happens at the vets.
