Donations towards flower arrangements for the children's area of the Papakura cemetery and families affected.

Auckland

I am a hobby florist and would love to make as many posies as possible for the children's area of the Papakura cemetery that was vandalized.

This page has been set up to contribute towards the purchase of flowers at wholesale pricing and for other materials that will be required such as oasis and wrapping.

I would like to make as many as possible and help to alleviate the pain these families must be feeling. It must be heartbreaking enough to deal with the loss of a child, let alone this senseless act of vandalism.

I will be organizing the creation of the posies/arrangements. Picking up flowers and making them. I will then take them to the cemetery myself or drop them off at the council if this is what they see fit to do.

Carrie, I think this is a truly wonderful idea! Thank you for giving those of us from further away an opportunity to give in a tangible way. If possible, I would like a small posy to please be placed on Jordan's grave if you can find it. PS - I also LOVE your name - my daughter is called Carrie because of its meaning - she was the first of my children to survive and as you will know, her name means song of joy.
