    As we prepare to board our flights tomorrow, we've decided to keep the momentum going and give our team the opportunity to share our journey from Venice with you all.

    To celebrate this incredible next chapter, we're extending our fundraising campaign for one more week. This gives everyone one last chance to be part of bringing Just Between Me & Jesus to the world stage at the Venice Biennale.

    Thank you so much for the incredible support, generosity, and aroha you've shown us throughout this journey. It truly means the world to our whole team.

    We are absolutely over the moon with the support we've received so far. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of the awhi ... it truly means the world to us.

    We've come so far and have just reached $15,000 in donations from our incredible supporters. Everything feels so close, and yet there's still so much more to do and so much more to come.

    There isn't long to go before Oli and the dancers board their flights to Venice to premiere this new work on the world stage.

    Right now, the company has just packed into the beautiful Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre, where, thanks to the incredible support of Auckland Live, they are able to undertake the show's full technical rehearsals before the set and costumes are freighted to meet them in Venice in just over two short weeks.

    Please keep sharing our campaign and spreading the word. Every share, every conversation, and every contribution helps make this journey possible, enabling Aotearoa artists to represent our country at a truly extraordinary moment in our arts history.

  • Our Fundraising Target

    We are now more determined than ever that this project is going to happen, thanks to the incredible support we’ve already received from our beautiful co-commissioning partners and generous donors.

    Over the past few months, the scale and ambition of the work has become even clearer, along with the real costs required to deliver it at the level this international opportunity deserves. We now have a much more defined fundraising target to ensure the work can fully realise its vision and make the journey to Venice.

    As a result, we’ve updated both our fundraising goal and our campaign timeline, extending the deadline to give us the best possible chance of reaching this final stretch sustainably and properly.

    Every contribution so far has brought us closer. Your support is helping carry a major work from Aotearoa onto one of the world’s most significant contemporary arts stages, and we’re deeply grateful to have you alongside us as we continue toward the finish line.
