    Thank you all so much for your generosity, obviously an emergency $5000 Vet bill was something I could never have really anticipated and having some extra help has meant to world to us.

    Coco is HUNGRY AS, she’s insisting on walks (we have to keep these controlled as she would love to razz up).

    She’s looking good, bright and we are monitoring her vitals frequently.

    We felt the love so much with the financial support, and honestly the most important part has been the connection, the stories and the words of love.

  • Post Oncologist appointment

    Coco is currently stable, happy, and showing no symptoms, but unfortunately, her prognosis isn’t good. Surgery might only give her 2–6 weeks and isn’t a cure, so we’ve decided against it. A CT scan could give more information but involves risky sedation and wouldn’t change the outcome.

    We’re choosing a palliative approach with chemotherapy, aiming to slow tumour growth and preserve her quality of life.

    Most importantly, we want her days to be filled with love, comfort, and joy.

    If her condition worsens, we’ll make compassionate decisions based on what’s best for her. For now, it’s love, food, and fun.

  • The outcome we all feared, my darling has a cancer attached to her heart.

    We are seeing the oncologist on Monday in Christchurch.

    Coco is unbelievably special and I will absolutely explore all ethical and humane avenues.

    Her vitals and comfort and appetite right now are great, so we hope it stays this way over the weekend.
