Raising awareness and funds for charities that support men's health.
Auckland
Mark Withers is cycling the length of New Zealand raising funds for Bike for Blokes, a charity established by Bruce Cotterill with the goal to ride the length of New Zealand, raising money for men's health.
In 2022, Bruce & Paul completed the first ride and raised in excess of $200,000. The money raised was split between Farm Strong and the Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registry, both organisations directly benefit men's health and mental health in New Zealand.
In February 2023 the ride is on again! This time, Mark is joining the ride raising funds for the charity who will again support Farm Strong and the Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registry.
Funds to be split between Farm Strong and Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registry, charities which both directly benefit men's health.
Bike Ride In Progress 3 March 2023
Starting in Cape Reinga on 19 February, Mark and the Bike for Blokes Team have cycled through some of the most challenging terrain in the country. Despite the gruelling conditions, Mark has persevered, spurred on by his passion for raising awareness and funds for men's health issues.
Currently in the Manawatu-Whanganui District, there is still a long way to go to, and the Bike for Blokes team is calling on all supporters to help them in their mission. Every dollar donated will go towards funding vital research, education, and support services for men dealing with a range of health issues, including prostate cancer and mental health.
