BRD is currently going through some hard times. The BRD Vehicle needs repairs, we need Medications and feed as we are low on funds

Bird Rescue was started by Sue to help native and non-native birds in need of rehabilitation. The rescue runs off of donations from the general public and the time and love from the volunteers here.
Our aim is to raise money for upgrades to enclosures, petrol costs for us to get to birds in need and the all important and much needed feed for the mixture of beings in our care.
We are low on funds and with Sue needing replacement parts for the Bird Rescue vehicle we are struggling to afford enough feed for all the birds here at the rescue, as well as fuel costs to get to places to rescue other birds in need.
About us
The mission of Bird Rescue Dunedin Charitable Trust is to rehabilitate injured and unwell New Zealand Birds, both Native and non-native, and to successfully release them back into the wild. We also look after domestic birds that need re-homed.
Use of funds
Funds will be used to get Sues Bird Rescue car up and running again, quoted cost is around $1000. Surplus will be used for feed, medications and possible vet visits.
