Blessed Hope Primary School

  • Keeping the momentum going...

      7 April 2016

We've been able to keep the momentum going with donations this week so thank you again to everyone who has contributed!! Your kindness is hugely appreciated and it is making a big impact on the school and the lives of these amazing children!! We have purchased over 900 workbooks, pencils, pens, erasers, sharpeners and chalk - enough stationery to provide every student and teacher at Blessed Hope with everything they need for class next term. We have also had 10 4-seater desks made, we have concreted the Standard 2 and 3 classroom floor, and we have purchased 2 new 80L Sufuria's and a large Jiko so the meal program at the school can continue to be provided. On top of all that, we have also purchased new mats and mattresses for the younger children to sleep on in the afternoon.

Have a look through the new photos in the Gallery to see where your donation money is going, and please feel free to spread the word to any friends and family!

    Sincerely,

    Michael Hobbs

  • A lot has happened in the first week!

      31 March 2016

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. We still have a long way to go but your support in our first week of fundraising has been extremely motivating for all of us at Blessed Hope!

We have acted quickly with your donations and have already had walls built to provide privacy for the classrooms (check the Gallery for more photos) and I have had meetings today to get the construction of the new desks underway and also to accept a quote for the concreting of the floor in the Standard 2 and 3 classroom. I hope you can see from the photos in the Gallery that your generosity is already making a huge difference for the children at the school, and I encourage you to share our page and hopefully get more people supporting our project.

    Thanks again!

    Michael Hobbs
