Goalball Manawatu invitational

Our team are holding a end of the year tournament here in Palmerston North Manawatu for a sport called goalball it is for visually impaired people.

For anyone that does not know what goalball is you're blindfolded having to throw a ball the size of a basketball to the other team on the other side of the court the ball has a bell inside of it so your left using your senses. Listening for the ball to block it so it doesn't go into the goal.

We brought home the cup from Auckland, New Zealand goalball nationals 2023 we hope to keep it for another year.

We are looking for funding to support accommodation, food, transport and the hire of a gym for 2 days. As people will be travelling from all around New Zealand. This is a nonprofit sport. Played by all ages.

The sport is not recognised by a lot of people. It is a paralympic sport.
