Many of Joel's friends have contacted us to ask how they can make koha towards the celebration of Joel's life. He has become a well-known personality to many beyond his hometown of Tokoroa through his social media pages and youtube channel Blokescancooktoo.
He travelled the country on hunting and fishing adventures, has amassed a collection of friends and whanau & brought us all along for the journey. Joel has shared his aroha, big laughs and hearty kai with many and we want to enable his following to contribute to the send off he deserves.

Our whānau wanted to say thank you to each and every one of you. We farewelled Joel on Monday in the way he would have loved surrounded by 300-400 of his friends, family and kindred adventurers. We read some of your tributes as part of his eulogy and everyone laughed and cried at your kind words. Your contributions helped this day happen and allowed us to feed everyone (in the days leading up to the funeral and the day of) with kai that Joel would have loved.
Joel gave so much of himself to others and we thank everyone who gavealittle for giving back to him. Aroha nui x
