Nearly at $7,000!! Please share
18 November 2020Hello
2 days left of my fundraising! I have last night and today posted on a total of 240 Facebook groups!!
Wanting to get that last few more dollars to get me up to $7,000 - gee I could never of dreamt of getting anything like this, I was thinking 'eeek will I even get $1,000'. Thank you so, so much everyone for your donations, this money will go a LONG way! Ronald McDonald House is run on donations AND Playcentre (receiving 5% of donations) will love their new sandpit toys.
If you could pretty please share with everyone you know ONE LAST TIME - spread the word, we are nearly at $7,000.
Thanks so much!
Howdy
I have never had a passion in my life - and I have found it with this fundraiser!! My fundraising journey ends this week - do you know I had my hair shaved off earlier this month - eeek I haven’t had short hair in 30 years!!
***So far I have raised $6873. PLEASE help me get to $7,000*** Thank you everyone for your shares and donations!
(Givealittle pays out on around the 21st of November!)
Please share, share share. Even if you can only afford $1 or $2 it all adds up! Share around your workplace, friends, family - everyone thank you so so much!! I have joined 245 Facebook groups to share the fundraiser!!
You can donate on the Givealittle page (they take 5% fee) https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/blonde-to-bald-for-the-kids-ronald-mcdonald-house
Check out the Facebook group you can read peoples stories and see my journey to the big shave earlier this month! https://www.facebook.com/groups/937784963393611/?ref=share (the purple hair is because friends donated $50 for me to colour it!).
------Some people think that Ronald McDonald House is just for families with children having cancer treatment, that is not the case.-------
Any family who lives 100 kms away and needs to travel so their child can receive treatment at Christchurch Hospital (also there is Invercargill too!) is eligible to stay. This can include, but is not limited to:
* Families of babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
* Pregnant women, and their families, experiencing high-risk pregnancies
* Families of children receiving mental health treatment
* Families of children receiving oncology (cancer) treatment
* Families of children with serious injuries
* Families of children undergoing surgery
Thanks for reading and your support.
