International rules games mixing Gaelic Football and AFL to win the Bobby Carolan Cup and to raise funds to help Heart Kids Canterbury.
Canterbury
Its that time of year again, International Rules - the best of the Irish take on the best of the Kiwis/Aussies in the International Rules contest. Canterbury GAA and Canterbury AFL are set to do battle.
This year we are delighted that we will have our first women's match on the night.
Again this is to support the Charity close to our Club and that is Heart Kids Canterbury. They support children born with heart conditions and provide practical, emotional and financial help to the families coping with their Childs heart condition, surgeries etc. Canterbury kids have to go to Auckland for surgery - away form family and friends - and Heart Kids help them get through this. Lets help them get the support they need.
