Bonnie was left with a badly broken leg and no vet care. She now needs to have her leg amputated

Bonnie is a 14 week old puppy found cold, limping & looking for food. Xrays showed she had a badly broken leg from when she was tiny that has healed very badly. The leg now needs to be amputated so Bonnie can have a pain free future and a new family.

CBBR is a registered charity that takes on abandoned, neglected & abused dogs from pounds NZ wide.

We take dogs off deathrow & give them vet care, rehabilitation & a loving environment until the perfect home is found. We offer a community foodbank/desexing

BONNIE UPDATE - Amazing news .... Bonnie still has 4 legs!!! Our amazing vet Avonside Wainoni Vet Clinic? have spent hours today working on Bonnies leg and have repaired the damage with a really great outlook for Bonnies future! All this for no extra cost to us. Cannot say enough great things about our vets and vet nurses that care for all our dogs. Bonnie's going to be very sore for a while but in no time she'll be a happy running puppy again. So pleased with this outcome :-)

My older canine is a Bull terrier X and happily shares her home with another 2 x breeds.She has fostered multiple litters and been a fabulous surrogate mother to many homeless waifs that pass through our home ! Sasha dog has been my rock and continues today as my BFF. Woof.
