Hi everyone - thank you. I am touched to have your trust and support; to reconnect with some I haven't spoken to in awhile, and to receive support from those who know me, warts and all, and still support me anyway :-) It means a lot. And I think happily of the mothers [and fathers] who don’t know yet that this Mothers’ Day, they will be going through a hard and magical time and they will be getting these beautiful care packages from Care for Families to help them tide through it. I feel thrilled and blessed that my book can be a part of these packages because of your help! :-)
So I have ordered 85 copies off Amazon (the number I could order through my author dashboard with the funds raised) and they are due to arrive from Australia in around two weeks. I have also ordered some custom bookmarks that will hopefully arrive next week, which I will insert into each book. We will then drop these off at Care for Families in early April, in time for them to be inserted into the Mothers' Day packs.
I will post another update soon to let you know where things are at.
