Books on the Bus NZ

Today, let's change the world. I want you to be part of an amazing movement. What started in London in 2012 as Books on the Underground is coming to New Zealand. I've coordinated with the organizers in London and they were happy for me to start it here and make it a part of Kiwi culture. Help us put this project together today.

In 2015, I started the project in the Philippines. Now that I am back in New Zealand, I finally want to get the ball rolling here.

The concept is simple. Some people in London went out and left their favourite books in the underground.

These are meant to be taken, read, shared and most importantly, enjoyed. So, why not start it here? Anyone can take a book or leave a book. We need the funding to get it started. Your generous donations are highly appreciated!

Any funds received will be used for:

1. Purchase of books (70% of funds)- at least 150 pieces of new and used books to be left in public transport systems (buses, trains, train stations, bus stops)

2. Printing of 1,000 stickers(10% of funds) - to be used on books and to send to others who want to take part in the program

3. Recruitment of other book fairies in different cities and shipping of books to them to get the project started (10% of funds)

4. Commissioning of web design, logo design and social media marketing for the cause. (10% of funds)
