Boomer needs your help to support his life saving vet treatment

  • Boomer reaches the end of his fight

    It is with much sadness to report that Boomer lost his fight over the weekend and passed away in the intensive care unit at the vet clinic. We are all extremely sad with this news and wish there was more we could have done for him. But we fought with him as long as he fought for himself. We would like to thank each and every one who donated to help with medical costs for him and for everyone who sent caring kind words of encouragement. RIP Boomer we will miss you!!!

  • Boomers treatment day five

    Boomer has spent a week on fluids, pain relief and anti nausea medication. It has been touch and go through out this time and we didn't think we would get this far with him. Today he has shown spirit, and a bit of liveliness. The fluids have begun doing their job as his diarrhea has decreased immensely. Boomer will spend the weekend in intensive care under vet supervision, and basically the truth is the next two days will be the make it or break it of his outcome. We are still desperate for the generous help from the public. We are half way to our goal in supporting boomers medical costs but because he is a fighter - we need your help so we can keep fighting along side him.

    Boomer update: Boomer is being treated for a Gastro Intestinal illness. This has hit him very hard and he is currently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit at the vets. Boomer is making very slow progress but is not out of the woods yet. Even with this illness Boomer's tail still wags when he sees a human. He is such a loving boy even though he feels like death warmed up. He is truly a sweet boy who needs the help of others.
