Te Puke, Bay Of Plenty

UPDATED FROM OUR PREVIOUS GIVE A LITTLE PAGE

Help us build the Bay of Plenty Movement HQ – a home for sport, fitness, wellness, and community in Te Puke. Through our 5 for the Future campaign, you can play a vital role. By donating just $5, you help demonstrate community support for the project, showing funders and partners that the Bay of Plenty is behind this initiative. Every $5 counts and sends a powerful message. Our goal is to raise $40,000 or have 8000 members of our community donate $5 - we have raised $10,265 so far.

We’re on a mission to boost wellbeing across our region with a purpose-built Movement HQ where people of all ages, from babies to older adults, can move, play, train, and connect. A place where whole whānau can enjoy movement together.

The HQ will unite sport, recreation, and health providers under one roof:

Gymnastics, Parkour, Dance, Tumbling, Soccer, Trampoline, cross sport training, cheerleading, martial arts, acro, tricking, holiday programmes, preschool play sessions, aerial/circus arts, adult fitness and more.

Classes for preschoolers, kids, teens, adults, and seniors.

The Graeme Dingle Foundation – a youth hub for connection, art, music, and fitness.

Providing a space for Te Puke Gymsport, Te Puke Dance Studios, Te Puke Junior Football, the Graeme Dingle Foundation and more.

Community events, workshops, education and gatherings.

Join the 5 for the Future campaign with a $5 donation and help move our community forward.

Phase one 95% complete!  20 July 2026

We have some exciting news to share!

Thanks to an incredibly generous donation last week, we have now raised $190,000 of our $200,000 Phase 1 goal. That means we're 95% of the way to funding the build plans for the Bay of Plenty Movement HQ.

To every person, family, business, organisation, and community group who has supported us so far, thank you. Your belief in this project and your willingness to invest in the future of our community and the generations to come is inspiring.

Reaching this first milestone means we can complete our build plans and move confidently into Phase 2 of the project. We are so close!

Now we need just $10,000 to get us over the line.

If you've been thinking about donating, now is the perfect time. Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to creating a space where people of all ages can move, connect, grow, and thrive.

Please keep sharing our campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues. Together, we can finish Phase 1 and take the next exciting step towards making the Bay of Plenty Movement HQ a reality.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
