Bosley's been shot ! Please support us by giving a little.

Just a quick update. Thank you for your concern and donations for Bosley. Bosley's doing really well now fortunately. In fact I think he’s completely forgotten (memory of a gold-fish i think 🤣). His mother is still traumatised though. Police case has been closed as the father of the “lads” (x3) (who both the police and I know did this) (they found another crossbow arrow on their property) are not allowing the police to speak to his boys (WTF 😡). The police said that they cannot insist on talking to these teens. Why is this I wonder? If it was a person who was shot with a cross-bow would they allow the father to protect his kids (2 x teens at school + an older guy)? NO FRICKEN WAY ! So what’s the difference I ask ?!!!! I don’t have a lot of confidence in the police system I’m afraid and the powers that they have. Bosley however is doing well now and that's all I can ask for. Thanks again.

  • Bosley's new life

      8 February 2020

Hi all. Thanks for your concern, support and caring to myself, my hubby and our gorgeous boy Bosley. It's been over 3 weeks since Bosley was shot. The police are still pursuing this matter and would be grateful to anyone around Rosier Rd or Woodglen Rd in Glen Eden that has any information to get in touch with them. Please share our story so as to make more people aware of the dangers out there to our beloved fur-babies.

Bosley luckily is completely healed. He's back up to his old way, bullying Lily and Pipi ! We have tried to "Bosley-proof" our property by putting a netting fence along the back of our property where he used to leave our property and a temporary netting "gate" across our driveway. I've also just purchased a second hand gate for our driveway which will hopefully make it harder for him to leave also.

Bosley's got a bad back and we've never seen him jump or climb anywhere so hoped this would keep him in. Then we got freaked out in case he managed to jump over the fence (maybe to chase another cat) and couldn't get back (if he was being chased by another cat or a dog or God forbid got injured again) so my hubby has put a "cat-flap" in the fence for him to come back through (it only opens inwards). I tell you all, we've been so worried about him and we've barely let him out of our site.

Anyway, just wanted to say a big "thank you" to all that have supported us through this trying time. We are trying to keep our heads above water (and paddling fast!) and now I'm back at work, things financially are starting to look better.

We would still be grateful if you could share our give-a-little page and our Facebook story to friends and family via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or email. The link is below or you can share this givealittle page.
