Boxed 1: Kaikoura Earthquake Recovery Fundraiser

On February 13th, we're embarking on an ambitious 5-day route through the Canterbury, Marlborough, and Tasman regions of New Zealand by bicycle. Initially, this ride was purely focussed around three mates reconnecting through the same means we met and became friends a decade ago; getting lost on our bikes. While this remains a large focus, and the premise of the short film which will be shot over the course of the ride, the events in November gave us extra drive as cause to follow through with this epic.

Having grown up a mere 1.5hrs up the coast from the Kaikoura township, and having many connections with the people there, we thoughts it best we do our part to contribute to the cause. The effect of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake which struck at midnight on the 14th November 2016 were immense, and continue to impede of the livelihood of the Kaikoura region.
