$2 for every pass I make during Super Rugby to help fundraise for Hawkes Bay Foundations Cyclone Relief Fund

Hawke's Bay

Cyclone Gabrielle has left my beautiful hometown of Hawke’s Bay, its communities and residents completely ravaged, some beyond repair.

I'm afraid that it will soon become "yesterday's news" and the ongoing help and support the region will need will be forgotten about. To play my part, I will be personally donating $2 for every pass I make in Super Rugby this season to Hawkes Bay Foundations Cyclone Relief Fund.

Last season I averaged about 60 passes per game. And I want to encourage people to match my donations through the season.

For those who join me, I will be giving away one of my match worn All Blacks Test Jerseys.

My teammates have also donated some fantastic All Blacks and Super Rugby memorabilia for me to give away at different points of the season for every other donation that is sent through here. Keep an eye on my social media, @brad_weber9 on both Instagram & Twitter for more details on these giveaways.

All funds are being donated to Hawkes Bay Foundations Cyclone Relief Fund that funnels donations direct to overwhelmed welfare agencies on the ground, that need it most. Please check their website to see which charities they are supporting with this fund.

Please leave your name on your donations so I can get in contact with you if you win one of the giveaway prizes.

Final pass update  23 July 2023

Well here we have it, the final donation update! In the Super Rugby Final I made 41 passes so I'll be donating $82 for that effort. That brings my total passes for the season to 771 in which I've donated $1542 for the people in Hawkes Bay still recovering from the devastating effects of Cyclone Gabrielle.

If you've been matching my donations this season the number for the final week is $41 or $82. I'll be drawing the winner of my ABs Test Jersey once all the donations are in. Thank you so much to all those that matched my donations this year. You are all legends and I appreciate you guys so much. Keep an eye on your e-mails in the next week as I will have a surprise for you all.

Much love,

Brad Weber

Sorry for a late support, Brad! My hometown also has experienced same as Hawkes Bay before, so sad. The roads to recovery may be very tough though, thinking of your Hawkes Bay during hard time. From a Japanese member of Dunedin Sharks , Mayu Mclaughlan
