Jo Brady is a local mum. After raising 5 of her own children single handedly she registered as a foster carer and has since become mum to another 18 children, including 8 currently living with her! Jo is a little lady with a huge heart of gold and a real asset to our community. Not content with just caring for her own kids she runs the Waimate Main School breakfast club and is surrogate grandma to another 25 who call her Nana Jo! What a women!

I am principal of Waimate Main School and I'm privileged to see what this amazing lady does for some of NZ's neediest kids on a daily basis.
Use of funds
Ideally we would like to raise $850,000 which would enable the Brady's to buy the local nursing home as their family home is currently brimming with kids. An immediate need however is a van as the family currently do not have sufficient transport.
