Nelson Mountain Bike Club is redeveloping the jumps in Branford Park into a high quality, valued, free to use, inclusive community facility

Nelson / Tasman

Branford Park - 5 minutes from Nelson CBD, has been the home to bike jumps of one sort or another for over a decade. NMTBC backed by an army of volunteers, and supported by Nelson City Council, has taken on the task of redeveloping them into a high quality, professionally built, well maintained community facility.

Focused on beginner and intermediate skill riders the jumps will be one of the centre pieces of mountain biking in Nelson, already one of only six Gold Standard locations in the world (IMBA 2015).

NMTBC needs to raise $10,000 in cash and donations to ensure this facility, with so much potential, is built to a standard we can all be proud of. Money is needed for drainage, machine hire, machine operators, signage, beautification (e.g. trees) and general facilities (seating, shade).
