Bring back Ruby's smile
My daughter Ruby needs braces and I don't have a way to get them for her. Please help her to smile.

Ruby needs braces and I just don't have the money to get them for her. I work really hard at my job, in chicken rearing, but am on a low income. I get a top up from the government to help pay our rent but still struggle to make ends meet. Some weeks I don't even have grocery money once all of the bills are paid.
I get the minimum child support, about $32 a month and my wages are less than what some women get in child support .
Looking back through photos Ruby smiles with her mouth closed, even from a young age. She has always been self- conscious about her teeth and now that she has hit her teens it is really upsetting her.
Please help me to raise enough to pay for these for her. I don't want to ask but for her sake I have to.

I'm Ruby's mum and like all parents I want the best for my child and for her to be happy.
Use of funds
The funds will be used to pay the orthodontist and get Ruby into braces.
If there is anything extra I will put it towards her education, to help her get to university.

Thank you to all the kind people who have donated to bring back Ruby's smile. I have now been able to book an appointment for her so that we can find out exactly what we are facing. Also Ruby's dad has offered some help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
