Bring Kai Home: Reunited with His Father & a Christchurch Memorial

As many of you now know, our beloved Kai Pavlovic has been found deceased in Canada after going missing more than a year ago. While we are devastated beyond words by this tragic loss, our deepest wish now is to bring Kai home.

Kai’s father has also passed away and is buried in Montenegro. Our goal is to repatriate Kai to Montenegro so he can be laid to rest alongside his dad, finally reuniting them.

Christchurch was also home to Kai, where his loving grandparents and aunts live and where he was loved by so many. If enough funds are raised, we would love a portion to go toward a permanent memorial garden in Christchurch, a peaceful space where friends, family and the community can gather to remember the bright, beautiful boy he was.

We are facing approximately $30,000 in international transport fees, documentation and specialised logistics, in addition to funeral, burial and memorial costs.

We are asking for your help to lift this burden during the darkest time of our lives. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward bringing Kai to his father and establishing his memorial here in New Zealand.

What the funds will be used for:

- International Repatriation & Transport: Approximately $30,000 for flights, international documentation and logistics to safely transport Kai.

- Burial & Funeral Costs: His funeral services and burial alongside his father in Montenegro.

- Christchurch Memorial Garden: A permanent memorial space in Christchurch for his local community.
