The memories I have as your older brother caring, loving and hugging you will always be remember. It truely saddens me that you no longer walk this earth, and you are gone forever. Kia ora whanau its been a very active week here in Perth working toward our journey of bringing our brother Earl Brown home.

Update: We are meeting with the right people tomorrow to put together the plan of flights and dates of our departure from Perth to NZ. The process is slow here but the team of soldiers have been amazing in getting us to where we are at this point. Things are looking possitive. When our bro is all preppd & ready we will hold a service for all the whanau in Perth to pay their respects & final farewells. (Day & time to be confirmed). We are overwhelmed by the love and contributions of all forms monotries, kai, hands on deck, phones, laptops cleaners lol most of all prayers for Helen & Sydney Ngaheu & our bro, (the list goes on) from everyone in NZ & AU appreciating each & everyone of you. Many thanks to you all. So until tomorrow's update love & light from the whanau in Te Urupu 💜💛💚

  • Cost to travel home

      18 December 2018

The putea raised from here will be going directly back to Helen to help get him home as was always the original intention. Give-a-litte take 5% fee which is small change compared to what has been achieved here. Money I believe is paid out between 20th - 27th each month. I will be using the services of Transferwise which offers the least amount of fees and best exchange rate see picture. Kiwibank exchange rates

    Amount to be sent:

    AUD 2,300.00

    Exchange rate:0.93799890

    NZ dollar value: NZD2,452.03

    Fee: NZD20.00

    Total cost: NZD2,472.03

Once there the money will be used towards bringing him home. The cost of bringing him home is around the $10,000 mark. This will get him to Auckland Airport. This does not cover the cost of Helen and Sydney also flying home. Return flights to Perth are roughly $1000 per person.

The short fall whanau in Perth are exploring all options.
