Help us assist the children of Bill to bring their pop back home to Whakaki
Hawke's Bay
**UPDATE** Whanau gathered on Saturday 18th July 2020 to lay Bill to rest beside all beloved whanau that have already passed. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and support given to us all during this time, especially to Tahns, Lath, Ethan and Kate.
*UPDATE* Brother Bill was transport via repatriation flight from Melbourne to Auckland on Wednesday. He then made his big drive back home to Whakaki Marae on Thursday to be with whanau.
Our beloved brother/dad/pop/uncle/cousin/friend William Brown (63) passed away on Wednesday 8th July 2020 in Melbourne AU.
I have set this page up to assist Tahne, Lathem, Ethan and Kate Brown, children of Bill, to bring their pop back home, relocate his possessions and belongings, the cost of tangi and any costs incurred for travel or other to bring him home to his whanau in Whakaki.
The COVID19 situation in Australia and NZ has put additional unneeded stress on an already emotional time for the whanau so a givealittle page may help for whanau to offer a koha if they are otherwise unable to do so in person. A koha of any amount is hugely appreciated.
We are all so proud of the kids for their strength and love for their pop.
"WILLIAM aka Billy, Son Son, Willie
A Big Brother, a Son, a Father, a Grandfather, a Husband and a good Mate.
Fly High my Big Bro
Soar with Angels in the Heavens above
You'll have all the whanau up there waiting for you
Give them the biggest of hugs from us
Will miss you everyday and once the mamai eases will still miss you."
