Bringing back the spuds

$3,800 donated
Given by 23 generous donors in 7 weeks

Please help Paul and Kat to overcome the impacts of Cyclone Gabrielle and get back to what they do best, growing veggies for New Zealanders.

Hawke's Bay

Our brother Paul and his wife Kat run a market garden in Hawkes Bay and have been devastated by Cyclone Gabrielle and don't have insurance for loss of their crops. In less than 24 hrs they lost 3/4 of their crops at a time when they were almost ready to harvest. Needless to say this has had a devastating impact on Paul and Kat and their 2 kids. Our brother Paul is the hardest worker we know, he works from sunrise to sunset 7 days a week and puts everything into his veggie operation. The impact of the cyclone has been overwhelming for them mentally and financially. Helping them in whatever way you can, big or small, we would be very grateful.
