Bringing Greg home to rest

My brother Greg has had a difficult life and thus made some not so great decisions leading eventually to his demise. Yesterday I received as his nominated next of kin the sad news that he has passed away and had posthumously tested positive for COVID 19.

He has been incarcerated the last approximate 5 years in an Indonesian prison paying for his bad decisions and has spent the last few years with progressively worsening emphysema relying on oxygen when it was available. Covid was the last straw for his body.. he died alone.

As his family we would like to offer him his dignity that he struggled to find in his life and bring him back to New Zealand but we need help for cremation costs and repatriation. I would also like my sister to be able to come home from Australia so we as a family can grieve and lay his memory to rest.

The estimated cost they provided us for cremation and handling, repatriation of the ashes, including cargo logistics and paperwork
