Fundraising to help our friends bring their beautiful boy back to his homeland to rest.
Waikanae, Wellington
Please support our beautiful friends as they come to terms with the sudden and tragic loss of their youngest child - just seven months after they moved to Australia together to start a new adventure.
Kupa was a gorgeous, talented and fearless young man who touched so many hearts on both sides of the Tasman throughout his 15 years. His family, friends and communities in both countries are reeling as they try to comprehend this immense loss.
On behalf of his parents, Damian and Tosca, his sisters Tiare and Caylee, and the amazing Parata whānau, we are reaching out for support to help fund the significant costs associated with bringing Kupa James back to his homeland Aotearoa/New Zealand and funeral arrangements.
Damian and Tosca are outstanding community people who have done so much for others and are always first to put their hands up to help. They are widely loved and respected for their positive attitude and the joy and friendship they create everywhere they go. This is an opportunity to support them as they work though the unimaginable pain of losing their young man and bringing him home to whānau to rest.
The Coolum Colts Junior Rugby League Club have posted this report in tribute to Kupa: https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=953230476815291&id=100063850410150&mibextid=WC7FNe&rdid=r69dJ4ZHIk5aMDNN
