After reading Graham's story on Stuff News today, can people still give donations to help this family enjoy the things that are important in life?

This question has not been answered yet.

The caring you show for your staff and their family is amazing. They are lucky to have you. Wishing Graham and Mery the best for their recovery. I wish I could give more than thoughts however I myself am on a similar journey.

Wishing them well. Marie Smith and family.

Thanks, Marie. Wishing you all the best on your journey also.

I came across the site above and wanting to know if it legit?

Candor3

Hi Aisea, thanks for your question. That page is legitimate. It was set up by Mery's niece in Columbia. Mery is originally from Columbia and has family there that were wanting to help.

My name is Richard Westerman and I worked with Graham for several years at AECOM and on projects at North Shore City Council. On hearing this I was devastated and in shock that it was happening to such a kind and genuine person and his wife. Sending this article to other close friends that Graham worked with in AECOM and AT both living in NZ and overseas has rallied them behind the family and they have been supporting the givealittle fundraising effort. Many feel the same as me and will support the family in their own way. I'm not trying to gratify myself with this post but outline to Graham and Mery the support they have from some of his closest work family. All the best, stay strong and with the support of all the other doners we will get to you goal.

Hi Richard, many thanks for your support for Graham and Mery and for sharing the link to this fundraising page. They are aware of your support and efforts and greatly appreciate it.

Hey guys, sending you wishes of health and healing, so very sad to hear about your situation and would love to help not just as a one off donation but as an ongoing support to the family - school holidays, weekly help, dinner deliveries and more. Please could you pass the family’s contact information so we can be in touch to extend our support. Blessings to the kids

Candor3

Hi Richa, your offer of further support is greatly appreciated. Graham and Mery are getting meal deliveries by MealTrain that has been organised by their church. They have asked that their personal contact information is not published on this fundraising page. Thanks again for your kind offer.

Hi there, My heart goes to the family, and they are in my prayers. Do you mind me asking who will look after the boys if they get hammered by known circumstances? Thanks, Divya

Candor3

Hi Divya, thanks so much for your support. Graham and Mery have a network of friends and family that are currently helping out the best that they can while both Graham and Mery are undergoing treatment. A close family friend of Graham and Mery's has graciously offered to adopt the boys if it comes to that. All the best, Andre (on behalf of Graham and Mery)

Hi, my name is Kylie and I am so sorry to hear about Graham & Mery's diagnosis.

I work for a charity called TimeOut. We connect generous holiday homeowners all around the country who are willing to donate a stay to a person diagnosed with an incurable illness so that they can spend time together and make special memories with family & friends.

If they are interested in applying or just want to find out more, we would love to help. They can apply online at www.timeoutnz.org or email info@timeoutnz.org with any questions. Take care, Kylie

Candor3

Hi Kylie,

Thanks for your message and the great work that TimeOut does.

I have forwarded your message and details to Graham.

Cheers, Andre
