Help Us Build a Better Space for Better Care

Piki Te Ora Health Centre is a not-for-profit GP clinic, in the heart of Linwood, Christchurch. For over 35 years, we’ve provided high-quality, culturally appropriate healthcare to people who often face the biggest barriers to access.

We care for over 5,900 patients — including Māori, Pacific peoples, refugees, mental health consumers, and individuals living with hardship. Many of our patients have experienced barriers in other health settings. At Piki Te Ora, they find respectful, holistic, and compassionate care.

But our building is no longer fit for purpose. Located at 201 Linwood Ave, the layout is outdated, the rooms are cramped, and the décor is tired. We’ve simply outgrown the space, and it’s affecting how we serve our community.

We’re fundraising for much-needed renovations to:

- Create an additional clinic room

- Improve accessibility and privacy

- Modernise the interior for patients and staff

- Support safe, efficient delivery of care

This project will allow us to better support our community — with dignity, comfort, and a space that reflects the quality of care we provide.

As a charitable trust and VLCA (very low cost access) practice, we rely on community support to make this happen. Every dollar will go toward creating a clinic that serves our people now and into the future.
