The Trust have been working with consultants on the planning and design work, required for the restoration of existing buildings and site development of the Lawrence Chinese Camp. The site will used for education, and cultural experiences for visitors with a museum, gardens, memorials and virtual re-creation of the settlement.
Considerable funding has been raised to get this far and we are now looking for funds needed to complete consenting and ensure the building work can commence as quickly as possible.
