Support Caden’s Journey to World Champs

We are incredibly proud to share that Caden Taufu'i Fuatimau has been selected to represent the New Zealand U16 Men's Water Polo team at the World Aquatics Water Polo Championships in Zagreb, Croatia.

At just 15 years old, he has dedicated years to training - still too young to drive, he is now preparing to travel internationally on his own to compete. While we're excited for him, we're also a bit nervous as parents, not being there to support.

NZ Water Polo has advised that the total cost for this trip is approximately $13,170, covering flights, accommodation, meals, and other team expenses. Our family is also fundraising to help cover these costs.

Any donation would mean a lot to Caden, who, through years of discipline and dedication, has earned the privilege of representing his country.

Itinerary:

Depart Auckland: 23rd July 2026

Herceg Novi : 25th – 31st July (Trainings and scrimmages)

Zagreb: 31st July – 10th August (Training & World Champs Competition)

World Champs Competition Dates: 3rd – 9th August

Depart Zagreb: 10th August 2026
