Cancer treatment for Dolly

  • Treatment starts today

    Hi everyone.

    Thank you so much for your contributions. Together we have raised a little over 6 thousand New Zealand dollars - we are getting there slowly; each dollar helps.

    Dolly had her PET scan and the results show that her cancer is spreading and has starting to invade her lung. She will have 5 weeks of radiotherapy starting today and after chemotherapy ensues.

    Please keep her in your prayers and the fundraising continues so we can raise enough funds to cover all her treatments.

  • Cost update

      10 February 2016

    We have received quotes from a few hospitals and it is going to cost USD 12,000 to get treatment in India. The treatment will take 3 months.

    Dolly's cancer is very aggressive and requires immediate treatment. We hope to to get the funds raised before the end of this month so she can travel the first week of March.

    Chemotherapy: USD 8,750

    Flights, PET Scan, tests and doctors fees: USD 2,650

    Accommodation and food: USD 600
