RRS goal is to grow together through sport and recreation. We all love the outdoors and a multi-purpose canopy and turf will enable this.

Richmond Road School is a unique school that celebrates diversity and is made up of four immersion units in Maori, Samoan, French and English. Children travel from all around Auckland to attend this special school. We are the only school in our area, and one of the very few in Auckland, with no shade for our children.

We consider canopy along with synthetic turf will both benefit the school and wider community. This canopy will greatly increase our use of the space available by enabling students and the community to use the facility in all weather conditions. The shade canopy can provide relief from wind, dust, sun, rain and noise, and will provide a sheltered area.
