"Can't Stop The Music" The Concert

Kia ora everyone!

I'm Sophie and for the past 6-7 months in my job, I have been organising a concert where young people with disabilities in Wellington get the opportunity to dance, sing and drum on stage and be celebrated for their work. Unfortunately, the organisation I was working for closed down 4 days before the concert and due to its closure, the event couldn't go ahead!

BUT I am stubborn and so incredibly passionate about the disability community and the beautiful families and volunteers I worked with that we are going ahead anyway as a community event. As with most things in life, there are expenses to running things and this concert has a few.

This event is going ahead either way but if you are in the position to and would like to support this amazing community (who were also devastated by the organisation's closure and no concert), please donate on this page to help cover expenses!

The concert will be happening on Sunday 10th November at Lower Hutt Event Centre (30c Laings road, Hutt Central), 2:00 pm to 4:15 pm. Doors open at 1:30 pm. All are invited! We welcome the community to see the inspiring and heart-warming performances from our performers!
