Canterbury Tails Animal Rescue and Sanctuary

$80 of $446 goal
Given by 4 generous donors in 8 weeks

We need a new chicken house for rescued chickens and roosters.

Canterbury

We are a new animal rescue taking in at risk animals and finding safe forever homes for them. We are in North Canterbury and offer a place where rescued farm animals can come and be safe, recuperate and be re-homed.

We have quickly outgrown the small chook house we used for receiving rescue birds and need a house where these new birds can go into for the first week of them coming before they are re-homed or integrated into the flock. The $446.50 is for chicken fencing and building material. This will build a large 2x 4 metre house so they have plenty of room.

About us

We are a small family-run animal rescue in the South Island of New Zealand which is also a sanctuary for a small group of animals.

By sharing the stories of the animals we meet I hope to create awareness and show people that these "pets" are no different from the animals people eat.

Use of funds

This is towards the chicken fencing and material for a new chicken shelter for rescued birds.
