$3,945 of $12,000 goal
Given by 47 generous donors in 4 weeks

We believe that art should be accessible to everyone. The Capital E National Arts Festival is an incredible enriching event every child sho

Nationwide

We work with local schools to reduce tickets to $10 per child for the full three shows plus transport (real cost ~$45). In order to do this, we want to raise $12,000 in ticket subsidies – each $10 raised will enable another child from Wellington’s poorest communities to be able to experience the magic of a day at the festival.

About us

Capital E is an award-winning not-for-profit organisation based in Wellington, whose focus is children and their creativity. We are the only facility in NZ that gives children access to a wide range of creative technology, live performance and events, attracting up to 200,000 visitors each year. We celebrate the power of the imagination.

The festival is almost here...   7 March 2013

Things are very, very busy here at Capital E, as our National Arts Festival is all set to kick off on Monday. We're still taking the time to watch donations roll in here on Givealittle, and be humbled by the generosity of people. Thank you so much for all the money we've raised so far, and thank you for sharing our belief that everyone deserves access to the arts. We'll have more updates for you soon.
