Caps right check is still swollen but his left cheek has gone down. I can’t wait for the blood tests on his heart to come back, he’s getting there, still on anti inflammatory paste and vitamin E to support his organs and any potential damage done

We picked up Cappie today from Massey in palmy and got him to his new grazing courtesy of Rebecca & Paul, and by crikey it’s a room with a view!

My Beautiful friend Jen went to see big Cap today and he is getting better thank God! This is what she said……..

He is looking a million bucks! Got to go outside with him for 5min grazing and then took him for a 10 min walk. He’s got his march back! Swelling definitely going down and he seems so bright. Both eyes open and he’s enjoying his food. Two more bags of fluids and then he should be done with those. Then just as long as eating (and swallowing) and drinking on his own he should be good to go! It was great to see him looking so good. Could barely get a selfie he was so keen to go 😅

Our gorgeous beautiful friend Jen Scott went and visited Cappie today and sent these pic and this message for an update……..

He’s breathing better than this morning (quieter). No further swelling (hasn’t gone down but hasn’t gone up either). Less sore when palpating his cheeks this afternoon. Some food going in, but he decides he likes it once and then wants something different the next time 🙃. He enjoyed getting a brush and some scratchies and even chewed and licked his lips when I gave him a head massage behind the ears (which they liked because they want him moving the muscles around his mouth and face)

We have just heard he is doing better but his face is more swollen his kidney reading, heart rate and breathing have come down but he is being force feed because his poor big swollen & sore face, they said the next 24 hours will tell, so this is good news, because he can have steroidal anti inflammatories now his kidneys are reading better they think that was just dehydration 😞 they had to pop his 3rd eye back in last night and place a catheter in to get him to pee, but he’s peeling normally now. They truely are amazing at Massey. Thanks for helping us out with your donations xxxx Below is a video of Cap last week when he was healthy 😞
