A suicide death affects at least six people. These people are suicide survivors. To get through immense grief and trauma, they need to know

I want to create care kits to give to suicide survivors via support groups, agencies, etc. I asked survivors in an online forum what kits could contain: Journal, pen, colour pencils, paper, candle, stress ball, tissues, relaxation CD, book about suicide grief, list of support options, dealing with practicalities, supporting children through loss, energy drink, meal replacement sachets, snacks, etc.

Very pleased to say I met with the Family / Whanau Coordinator at Equip (mental health provider) the other day. She is keen to give care kits to members of the WAVE suicide bereavement support groups that are being run later this month on the Shore and in a couple of months' time in Rodney.
