Help honour Kristina Belcher’s legacy of love & kindness. Support her farewell & her daughter Bella’s future during this heartbreaking time
Canterbury
Kristina (Krissy) Belcher has been one of the world’s brightest lights, radiating joy, love, and kindness. Her beautiful spirit has left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her, and she will live on through the memories we share.
Krissy’s journey has not been without trauma. Eighteen years ago, she lost her twin sister to suicide and has faced her own struggles with mental health and bipolar. Despite these hardships, Krissy remained positive and giving to others.
Seven years ago, Krissy was diagnosed with breast cancer. She faced this battle with incredible courage, but the cancer returned as bone cancer and has now spread to her liver. Devastatingly, Krissy has been given only days or, at most, a few weeks to spend with her loved ones.
Krissy will leave behind her 14-year-old daughter, Bella, who has no father and will be lovingly cared for by Krissy’s parents, John and Dinka. This is not the first time they have stepped in selflessly, as they also raised the son of their other daughter and her husbands passing. Despite their immense sacrifices, they have always given generously to others and would never ask for help themselves.
With the holiday season bringing sadness instead of joy for Krissy’s family, we are reaching out for support. Contributions will help ease the financial burden of funeral costs and provide some security for Bella’s future.
On behalf of Krissy, Bella, and her family, we thank you for your kindness and aroha.
I am Kristina's youngest brother. Funds will be released to our Dad John.
Funds will cover Krissy's funeral costs and final wishes. Any extra contributions will go into a trust account for her daughter, Bella.
