Celia Lashlie Projects

First of all, a huge thank you for your very generous contribution to the Celia Lashlie Projects Givealittle page. We have been absolutely overwhelmed with the number of people that have contributed and are so very thankful.

I don’t have much to update you at this stage – as you can imagine, we are all still trying to process and deal with the grief we have since losing our beloved Celia, and Mum. It has been a very tough and surreal time, but it has certainly helped getting the numerous supportive and loving emails that we have. Mum certainly touched a lot of lives and we were very lucky to have her for the time that we did. We miss her so much, and life just does not seem the same without her.

In terms of the money raised from Givealittle…I wanted to touch base and let you know that a core team of people and I are starting to think about next steps with Mum’s work. We are just about ready to start thinking about where to from here. We had done some work with Mum in the latter stages of 2014 which gave us the beginnings of a plan, but we have some work to do now and we have to think about what we do without our immensely talented and passionate leader.

We are very keen to keep Mum’s legacy going and to make sure we honour her in the best way that we can…..and we appreciate your help to date. Thank you so much.
