CFC Classics 2020 Fundraiser for club subscriptions, sports and medical equipment.

The Christchurch Football Club (CFC) Classics is a newly formed metro grade rugby union team that promotes the ideals of family, brotherhood, and inclusion. As part of New Zealand’s oldest football club, the CFC Classics carries on the proud traditions of the CFC Canardlys and the CFC Heroes as a team that welcomes players from any skill level, background, or ability.
As our inaugural fundraiser for the CFC Classics we will be hosting a Quiz Night fundraiser. This event will raise funds to partially cover the cost of our club subscriptions, sports and medical equipment, as well as raising additional funds to prepare our team for the 2021 club rugby season. At this stage, we will be hosting a quiz night at Bailies Bar & Restaurant, 1066 Colombo Street, Edgeware on Monday, 24th August 2020.
We would gladly accept any stock, services, or vouchers from your organisation to support our grassroots community-lead rugby union team.
The CFC Classics is affiliated to The Christchurch Heroes LGBTI+ Sports Teams Charitable Trust which is a registered charity (CC56503).
About us
We encourage the development of cultural and sporting life of the Christchurch Rainbow community and the community at large.
Use of funds
The funds will partially cover the cost of our club subscriptions for 2020, sports and medical equipment, as well as raising additional funds to prepare our team for the 2021 club rugby season.
