Chad Milnes Olympic Campaign

I have qualified, once again, to represent New Zealand at international level, and my first ever qualification for the World Championships, something my coach and I have been training incredibly hard for particularly over the past couple of years. Ironically, funding of National athletes requires proven results and in order to achieve this I need to attend these tournaments. Regrettably, the costs to have achieve this have exhausted all reserves and unless I gain further financial support the road will come to an end.

I am still incredibly passionate and excited about my sport, I am a hard worker and I know if I am given the opportunity I have ability to achieve my ultimate goal to medal at the Rio 2016 Olympics, something that I not only want for myself, but for my family and coach and others who have supported my pursuit of this so far.

In order to continue my Olympic campaign I want to test myself at the World Championships in Qatar ( 5 - 15th Oct this year ) and must attend the Asia/Oceania Olympic Games qualification tournament at the end of March 2016, in Qian'an city, China.

The more international competition I can gain the better I will become, so if you are able to support me, I promise you that I will give everything I have to reach the highest level.
