In the heart of the beautiful South Island, a vibrant soul, Chai, has been an unwavering pillar of strength within the Couples for Christ community in New Zealand. Chai, a loving mother to 9-year-old Zac and 4-year-old Zia, and a loving wife to Reiner, has been struck by a late-stage breast cancer that has metastasised to her brain, challenging her with a battle she never anticipated.

Chai has dedicated years to serving and uplifting our community, spreading love and joy in every corner of our lives. Now, in her time of greatest need, we come together as a community to support her in the most crucial fight of her life.

The doctors have delivered a heartbreaking prognosis, giving Chai only 1-2 months to live. However, there is a glimmer of hope through an advanced treatment that could extend her life by 6 to 12 precious months. This non-funded treatment comes at a substantial cost of $20,000-$30,000 per session, required every three weeks for at least 4 sessions.

Chai's unwavering spirit and love for her children drive her to seek this lifeline, giving her the chance to create lasting memories, witness her children grow, and continue the invaluable service she has offered to our community.
